Do you want to sell a single item or a collection?
The problem with selling any autographs is knowing how much they may be worth, and who to sell them to. Do you offer them around to dealers, do you put them on ebay? or perhaps try a normal auction? All of these options have their pitfalls!
- ebay or similar. you will have to photograph or scan the item, decide on a price and of pay all the fees associated with ebay, including these PayPal fees! If your item should sell, you then need to package and post it, and hope it gets delivered!
- Normal live auction. Christies, Sotheby's etc, these are great for the real top end items, but you still need to wait until one comes around as they are not that regular, then, assuming it sells you will normally have to pay at least 25% commission on top plus listing and photo fees, and of course you have very little control over how much it sells for!
- Selling to a collector. Nice idea, but how many collectors do you know? We have in excess of 10,000 on our database!
This is how Autographs.co.uk can help you!
- We will authenticate and value your items.
- We will scan or photograph your items
- We will list them on this site with an agreed value.
- We will take care of payment and postage.
This is a new service and we are only accepting a limited number of items right now from known customers, but we will be able to accept items for sale very soon, so do keep watching.
